Traditionally, June has been the most popular month to get married. But modern-day weddings have no limits to when they can take place! The most important thing is that you are marrying your best friend. The time doesn’t really matter, although each season has its perks. We love weddings in each season, and here’s why.
Spring Weddings
Who doesn’t love a spring wedding? Flowers are in bloom, and love is in the air! There are a number of reasons why springtime is great for a wedding.

Days are the longest in the summer. Not only does this give you plenty of time for photo opps, but you don’t have to worry about it getting dark and ending the party early. Since you don’t have to have the ceremony early to avoid the sun going down during it, the longer day gives you more time during the day to get ready and more time for your guests to arrive at your wedding.
Fall Weddings
Fall weddings can be absolutely gorgeous. Between the fall weather and natural backdrops, fall is a beautiful time for a wedding.

By having your wedding in the fall, you should run into fewer conflicts with guests. Most people take their vacations in the summer, and you will also avoid end-of-the-year holidays. Flights also tend to be less expensive in the fall, so you might have fewer conflicts with your out-of-town guests who have to fly in.

Winter Weddings
People may not think of winter weddings when they first start planning their big day, but there are many reasons why you should choose to have your wedding in the winter!
Winter is an off-season for weddings. Like with the fall, some wedding vendors may discount their services for weddings held in the winter months. Because there aren’t quite as many weddings in the wintertime, vendors may also be more flexible.
Being in the South, humidity is a real thing. Your carefully styled hair and makeup will thank you for having your wedding in the winter. Your guests will also be much more comfortable due to the lack of humidity.
Because most winter weddings take place inside, you won’t have the stress about worrying about bad weather on your wedding day. The real risk of bad weather during winter is snow, which we LOVE in the South. Think of how amazing your pictures will look if you take a few outdoor pictures with beautiful white snow in the background.
Think of rich colors, like reds, maroons, and greens. Winter white would also look beautiful mixed in with other winter colors. Another plus is that a lot of places will already be decorated for the holidays, so you can possibly save money on decor.
Because fewer people take vacations and travel during the winter, you are likely to have more people RSVP yes to your wedding. You also won’t be competing with as many other weddings as during the summer or spring.
